A few of us went to Lavigne to check out our rally site at Joli Voyageur. Rodney and Carol are great hosts and are working very hard to get this all set up.
There is a stage where local talent Johnny Rock will entertain on Saturday night. There is lots of space for tent camping, a swimming pool and also a beach on the lake, bathrooms and showers and a large dinner tent.
We visited the Lavigne Tavern – a five minute walk from the campsite. The tavern is run by Guy Fortier, our club founder. The food there is great, I had delicious pizza.
We need a head count by July 31st, please RSVP by then if you plan to go as we have to order the fresh Pickerel from Lake Nipissing.
